Ultra-MAGA v. RINOs

So, this happened yesterday...

I am still a registered Republican, though I am not at all in line with the current party. I am not a Trumpian. I would be called a RINO (Republican In Name Only) today, even though I am a classically -- in line with Lincoln and the post-Whig party -- Republican, with ordoliberal economic and libertarian tendencies. 

Here in Wyoming this last year, the party booted Congresswoman Liz Cheney from its membership because she stood her ground against Trump and the January 6, 2021 insurrection, despite falling in line with party politics well over 90% of the time. She is certainly no RINO. She even voted for Trump. But she is consistently faithful to procedure and constitutionality, which is why I presently support her (I disagree with many of her policy choices). I support her independence and right of conscience, and her willingness to go against the flow when the flow is flowing backwards. 

I thought that was the worst of the party here in Wyoming, but then this happened...

My party has sipped -- no, gulped from the Trump Koo-Laid fountain. There is no room for moderate, traditional, and dare I say it -- real Republicans, who are pragmatic conservatives, not rigid autocrat supporting simpletons rallying behind rhetoric and toxic slogans. 

Shame on you Wyoming GOP... You have jumped the proverbial shark.
